Already got more soundtrack than games - whoopsies!

Ello gang :3 You miiight have noticed one of my to do list entries at the side is literally “Realise I already have more soundtrack than games-“ aaaand here we are.

Since I also make my own music on the side (ehem rebellion mac on all streaming platforms ehem cough choke) I often come up with bits on bobs of demos, most time very spontaneously. But you can’t have games without some music, I mean you can if you want to, free will i guess. However I’d like my games to have specifically autistically curated music to fit. I want the right vibes to be there for the right moments, yknowww.

One of these demos that I have around fits perfectly into the vibe and storyline I’m going with for the lost media game. Part of the story will be the main character playing a simple tune in hopes of finding its fellow lost characters. This tune would be the motif used often throughout the game as well as the title music. I’d like to work on a proper demo before showing but it’s all in my head, just need to put it down.

The second music that’s done is for the Maltese Sapphic RPG. Our protagonists meet at a pop rock band concert, and i didnt want the music played to just be some generic poprock i’d cook up in 5 minutes. Beside this is a very important scene - if this concert wouldn’t have happened, our protaginists wouldn’t have met and it would just be a 2000s Malta simulator. So instead I uhhhh wrote music and lyrics to entire song in 5 minutes (literally it all came to me whilst having a quick shower) - the best part is that the lyrics are entirely in Maltese. To have an idea of the band and this song, it’s influenced by some fellow Maltese bands such as Brikkuni (they’re soooo underrated), Brodu, and some other Maltese artists here and there and some other non-Maltese music I love. Given the game will be set in early 2000s and thus its context, I wanted the song to be some vent song this band wrote out about their frustrations and annoyances regarding what’s going on, social-politically - I will give more context sometime soon. And honestly I don’t want to this song to be just some song from a game, but I want this to be the kind you’d think this is by an actual irl band. This also has a pending demo too, but again it’s all in my head and I just need to put it down. I’ll probably only manage an instrumental for now - you can forget the idea I’ll be singing it myself pffff.

Also for that, it would be reeeeeally cool if some music would be inspired by certain Maltese folk songs and music (here’s a playlist of some of my personal favourites (includes some other music too)) - not too in your face but rather as very very light motifs that blend in easily and would take someone with the Malta autism to spot - oh yeh me hello :D I already have some ideas jotted down, but alas I really need to get round making some actual audible demos.

The third is for the ethereal nymphs and butterflies sapphic RPG, I have this one song I already have put out called touch grass, and tbh my synesthesia and I always visualized ethereal nymphs and butterflies for this (really partially where the idea of the game came from) so I would really love if I could have a revisited version of touch grass for the game and similarly vibed music.

There's some other bits and bobs that I think can wait a little to be mentioned further and better ;)
